1/ Cannot find index.html file  This is usually caused when you override the folder that was created by Eclipse before. Let take back a little in history, when sapui5 is new and not yet have their own Web IDE. Developer needs to use Eclipse to develop & deploy to ABAP server. And the structure of webapp in Eclipse is different than in Web IDE, this leads to the issue you're having. Solution: To fix it, delete all the configuration relating to the old folder structure created by Eclipse in configuration files (which are the " UI5..." files) . The file created by Eclipse is usually the file inside WebContent folder. ---V---

Hi, ABAP Repository is the default repository of SAP system, until the time I wrote this post. Hence it would be essential that you know to import/deploy your application from LOCAL Web IDE. I want to emphasize the "Local" here because as you know, we usually use local Web IDE (personal version) for development since it much faster than the cloud version. (for some region that SAP/your company does not have cloud server). Here's how: 1/ Import application from ABAP repository 1. As a SAP UI5 developer, many times I have wonder why SAP's reputation is not really good in developer community. I've considered it a weakness of SAP, the best ERP provider in big business. After some years struggle with (SAP) ABAP code, I've realized that SAP's un-popularity has its own reason: 1/ SAP does not need to be recognized by everyone. ERP Solution Chart SAP is not a software provider for end user. It's not Microsoft or Google. Their market focus on big enterprise like Microsoft or Google themselves. It instructed you step by step to study about ODATA. All you need is to follow it. And have studied ODATA one time, before I enter this link. The first time was a training, conducted by my senior SAP developer in my company. He prepared slide and demos, he use one demo tool, but I think it's not as good as the tutorial in above link.
